F.O.O.T. Background

Started in 1993, F.O.O.T. is an annual, student run conference and arts festival produced in conjunction with the Graduate Centre for the Study of Drama and the Drama Centre Student Union. Its goal is to create a discussion between scholarship and praxis. The structure of the festival varies from year to year. Past programs have combined academic conference papers, panel discussions, readings of plays in progress and original theatre performances.

Application Information

Applications for directorship of F.O.O.T. will be announced through the student listserv. The call for this application goes out in the spring of the preceding which means that the directorship has generally been determined by the fall of the academic year during which the festival is to occur. If you are interested in submitting an application to the festival, we encourage you to  speak to the Student Festival Liaison about your ideas.
