PhD Member at Large – Sebastian Samur

Sebastian is a 1st year PhD student at the CTDPS. Raised in Calgary, he completed undergraduate theatre studies at the University of Ottawa, and his MA (also theatre) at the Université du Québec à Montréal. His primary interest is actor training, and the many forms “acting” can take. This past summer he had the chance to work with the Dairakudakan butoh troupe at their summer intensive in Japan. Outside of theatre, Sebastian enjoys travel, swimming, video games and exploring Toronto, which is pretty much brand new to him.
